Key Responsibilities\n

• Directly engage with clients in both clinical settings and the community to assess and treat symptoms relating to major mental illness and severe emotional disorders.

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and screenings, ensuring evidence-based practices are applied effectively and ethically.

• Create and implement personalized integrated care plans while collaborating with family members and external providers to support client needs.

• Deliver focused prevention, treatment, and recovery services, assisting clients in crisis intervention as required.

• Carry a manageable caseload of clients, providing assessments, individual therapy, group therapy, and family sessions tailored to current needs.

• Monitor client progress and document outcomes, ensuring timely completion of reports and adherence to discharge criteria.

• Participate in organizational committees to enhance quality improvement and service delivery initiatives.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on clients who are experiencing significant mental health issues related to terminal illnesses and their emotional aftermath. The unique challenges presented in hospice care call for a sensitive approach, prioritizing both the client and their family members. You will advocate for client dignity and autonomy throughout their care, working closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure that treatment and goals align with each client’s personal values.

Qualifications\n

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited program; a Master's Degree is preferred.

• Must possess a valid LCSW license to practice in the state of Florida.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this full-time position is competitive, with annual pay between USD 70,000 and 85,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
