Work Environment\n

This position is entirely remote, allowing for flexibility and work-life balance while ensuring you can provide support from the comfort of your own space. You will engage with clients via telehealth sessions, which may include video calls, phone interviews, and the use of secure digital platforms for documentation and progress tracking. Though this role is predominantly remote, some flexibility in scheduling will be required to accommodate patient needs and to ensure optimal care delivery.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, culturally sensitive mental health assessments to identify clients' unique challenges and strengths.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based interventions, mapping out clear therapeutic goals in collaboration with clients.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, particularly focusing on fostering resilience in clients facing various mental health challenges.

• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to coordinate a holistic approach to care.

• Provide crisis intervention services, offering immediate support to clients experiencing acute mental health crises during sessions.

• Educate clients and their families on mental health issues, treatment modalities, and available community resources for ongoing support.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential clinical documentation according to legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Engage actively in team meetings, case discussions, and professional development workshops focusing on cultural competency.

• Stay updated on the latest research, therapeutic techniques, and cultural considerations relevant to effective mental health treatment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and active state license as an LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT.

• A thorough understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment strategies, particularly in relation to cultural appropriateness.

• Demonstrated experience in providing individual and group therapy with a commitment to inclusivity and responsiveness to cultural dynamics.

• Strong crisis intervention skills and the capacity to exhibit calm and clarity in high-pressure situations.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, fostering rapport with a diverse clientele.

Preferred Experience\n

• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in mental health counseling or therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n
