Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma history and identify tailored treatment approaches.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at facilitating trauma recovery and promoting resilience in patients.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), in your practice.

• Lead individual and group therapy sessions that help clients process their trauma experiences, develop effective coping strategies, and foster healing.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, social workers, and other mental health professionals to ensure a comprehensive and integrated care plan for each patient.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patient safety and well-being.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses and coping mechanisms, equipping them with resources for continued support.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards to ensure compliance and quality care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on clients experiencing trauma-related conditions. This includes working with individuals who suffer from PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will be instrumental in providing a tailored approach that empowers patients to navigate their mental health challenges, fostering an environment where they feel safe and understood.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies.

• Proficiency in delivering evidence-based therapies focused on trauma recovery.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a relevant mental health setting is preferred but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits\n
