Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose and treat a variety of cardiology conditions, such as hypertension, heart failure, and arrhythmias.
• Develop tailored treatment plans in collaboration with patients and healthcare professionals, ensuring holistic and evidence-based approaches to care.
• Monitor patient progress through regular follow-ups and modify treatment plans as necessary, adapting to changes in health status.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a focus on cardiology or completion of a Family Nurse Practitioner program with cardiology coursework.
• Certification as a Cardiology Certified Nurse Practitioner (CCNP) through the Cardiology Nursing Certification Board (CNBC) is required.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience in cardiology, primary care, or a closely related field as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Exceptional clinical judgment, strong communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience

Preference will be given to candidates with additional experience managing complex cardiovascular patients, using electronic health records for documentation and care coordination, and involvement in quality improvement projects in a healthcare setting. Knowledge of home health care regulations will also be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
