This role will be carried out onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility in Woodbridge. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to determine their physical capabilities and limitations, taking into account their medical history and personal goals.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including exercise regimens, manual therapy, and advanced therapeutic modalities.
• Monitor patient progress meticulously, documenting treatment outcomes and adjusting goals and plans accordingly to optimize recovery.
• Collaborate with patients and their families to educate them about therapeutic techniques and self-management strategies that encourage participation in their own rehabilitation process.
• Recommend assistive devices when necessary to enhance patients' ability to perform daily activities safely and effectively.
• Stay updated on the latest industry practices by attending workshops and reviewing relevant professional literature, thereby enhancing personal knowledge and technical skills.
• Provide training to caregivers and families to empower them to support the patient's rehabilitation efforts.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population, spanning various age groups and medical backgrounds. You will encounter patients recovering from surgery, traumatic injuries, and chronic conditions requiring rehabilitation. Your expertise will be crucial in helping these individuals regain independence and improve their overall well-being.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy, with a Doctorate (DPT) preferred.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey complex information effectively.
• Proficient in administrative tasks, including patient documentation and record-keeping.
• Ability to work flexibly within scheduled hours from Monday to Friday.
• A high level of adaptability to adjust treatment approaches as needed based on patient feedback and progress.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience as a Physical Therapist in a clinical or rehabilitation setting.
• Previous experience in home care settings is a plus but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits

Beacon Health Physical Therapy offers a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition to financial compensation, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including:
