Job Overview The University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) invites applications for a full‑time Pediatric Pulmonology faculty position at the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine, ranking of Assistant/Associate/Professor. Responsibilities Provide primary and subspecialty care to pediatric pulmonary patients from birth to young adulthood at affiliated hospitals including Sunrise/Children’s Hospital, UMC/Children’s Hospital and others. Deliver outpatient clinical care at UNLV Health Faculty Practice plan clinics. Engage in teaching, mentorship, and curricular development within the Department of Pediatrics. Participate in hospital, departmental and university committees and pediatric outreach activities/advocacy. Participate in research and scholarly activity as appropriate for faculty rank. Qualifications MD or DO degree from an accredited institution; Board Eligible or Certified in Pediatrics. Board Eligible or Certified in Pediatric Pulmonary Medicine prior to start date. Eligibility for an unrestricted Nevada medical license, Nevada pharmacy and DEA licenses, malpractice insurance. Credentialing and privileging at affiliated hospitals and other sites as required. Evidence of academic experience in an academic medical institution or equivalency, including research and scholarly activity. Strong clinical, teaching and leadership skills with excellent interpersonal abilities and a team‑oriented approach.
