Key Responsibilities\n

• Implement mindfulness-based interventions, such as Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), during individual and group therapy sessions to assist clients in managing stress and enhancing emotional well-being.

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to identify clients' unique stressors, mental health challenges, and personal goals, informing the development of individualized mindfulness strategies.

• Guide clients through various mindfulness exercises including meditation, breathing techniques, and self-reflection practices that foster self-awareness and emotional balance.

• Facilitate engaging group workshops and classes that focus on mindfulness practices, stress management techniques, and resilience-building strategies tailored to meet the needs of participants.

• Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of client interactions, treatment progress, and mindfulness interventions utilizing electronic health record systems.

• Develop collaborative relationships with other healthcare professionals to create an integrated treatment plan that encompasses mindfulness techniques alongside other therapeutic modalities.

Qualifications\n

• Education: A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Licensure: A current, valid license as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Illinois.

• Experience: Demonstrated proficiency in integrating mindfulness into therapeutic interventions to support client mental health.

Preferred Experience\n
