Key Responsibilities\n

• Implement mindfulness-based interventions tailored to the individual needs of clients seeking assistance with stress reduction, emotional regulation, and enhanced overall well-being.

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to understand clients’ unique stressors, challenges, and therapeutic goals, utilizing active listening and empathetic communication.

• Facilitate individual therapy sessions where mindfulness techniques, including meditation and breathing exercises, are seamlessly integrated to foster self-awareness and emotional balance.

• Design and lead group workshops focused on mindfulness practices and resilience-building strategies, encouraging peer support and community engagement.

• Regularly engage in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, including other therapists and healthcare professionals, to create a cohesive and holistic treatment approach.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of client progress, interventions utilized, and treatment plans to monitor outcomes and adherence to therapeutic goals.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Must possess current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) within the state of California.

• Strong proficiency in using mindfulness techniques in therapeutic practices is essential, with prior experience in MBSR preferred but not mandatory.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are required to create an environment conducive to personal exploration and emotional safety.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure counseling experience, preferably in a telehealth or remote setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
