Work Environment

The Physical Therapist will work onsite in our modern outpatient office, equipped with state-of-the-art rehabilitation technologies and therapeutic equipment. The clinic operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, fostering a stable work-life balance in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their mobility, strength, and functional abilities.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs and goals of each patient, including exercise regimens and manual therapy techniques.
• Continuously monitor and document progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment processes and strategies to enhance recovery outside of therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and administrative staff, to develop cohesive treatment strategies.
• Utilize electronic health record systems to maintain accurate and up-to-date patient information, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in physical therapy practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will serve include a diverse population suffering from a variety of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions, including post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, stroke rehabilitation, and chronic pain syndromes. Your role will be vital in communicating and building relationships with these patients to foster trust and encourage active participation in their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program; a Master's degree is preferred.
• A valid license to practice physical therapy in Florida or eligibility to obtain one.
• Strong clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills, with a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
• Excellent communication skills that facilitate effective interactions with patients, families, and team members.

Preferred Experience

We are looking for candidates with a minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient setting, which will help them adapt quickly to our team's culture and the specific needs of our patient population. Experience with electronic health records and familiarity with evidence-based practices will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

We are pleased to offer a competitive salary ranging from $85,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
