Work Environment

The Physical Therapist will be based onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center in Avenel, New Jersey, within a collaborative and supportive work environment. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians and develop individualized treatment plans based on their specific needs and physical condition.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, adapting to the unique requirements of each patient and their treatment goals.

• Provide hands-on therapy using a variety of therapeutic techniques, modalities, and exercise prescription as dictated by the treatment plan.

• Engage in patient education, ensuring that clients and their caregivers understand their treatment processes and can effectively manage their care.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to track patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans to optimize recovery outcomes.

• Network with local healthcare providers and participate in community outreach programs to elevate public awareness about the benefits of physical therapy.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of each patient's treatment, progress, and outcomes, adhering to all professional and legal standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Deep Care, you will treat a diverse patient population spanning various age groups and conditions, including orthopedic injuries, pediatric complexities, neurologic impairments, and sports-related ailments. Your holistic approach will facilitate the restoration of function and mobility, ensuring that each patient receives tailored therapeutic services that resonate with their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Active New Jersey Physical Therapy state license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to building trust and rapport with patients.

Preferred Experience
