This full-time remote role allows you to engage with clients from the comfort of your home while making a significant impact on their mental health journey. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality care through individual and group therapy sessions, primarily focusing on trauma-informed practices.

Work Environment\n

This position will be performed remotely, offering flexible scheduling options to accommodate both clients and clinicians effectively. Our telehealth facility enables you to conduct sessions anytime between 7 AM to 10 PM, seven days a week, promoting work-life balance and accessibility for both clinicians and clients. You will collaborate with a supportive team focused on delivering trauma-informed care and continuously enhancing your skills through professional development.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed assessments to evaluate clients' trauma histories and develop individualized treatment plans aimed at recovery and resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Deliver both individual and group therapy, assisting clients in processing their trauma and developing effective coping strategies.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary teams to create an integrated approach to patient care.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention and support for clients experiencing trauma-related emergencies, ensuring their immediate safety and emotional support.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and the resources available for ongoing support.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring quality control in documentation.

• Participate actively in case consultations and team meetings, contributing to the overall improvement of trauma-informed care within the practice.

• Stay informed on the latest research and best practices surrounding trauma therapy, continuously seeking to refine your therapeutic approach.

The clients you will serve include individuals navigating various trauma-related challenges such as PTSD, anxiety disorders, and depression. Our practice prioritizes a client-centered approach, ensuring our services are tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual, fostering a safe environment where healing and growth are achievable.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid LPC license in the state of Texas.
\n
• Strong knowledge base regarding trauma-related disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and a variety of computer applications.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal skills with an empathetic and non-judgmental approach to client care.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred, particularly in trauma-focused therapies.

• Experience working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to provide integrated care.
