Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments, making mental health diagnoses and developing treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs.

• Implement short-term counseling strategies for clients experiencing a range of issues, including but not limited to depression, anxiety disorders, trauma, grief, substance use, and behavioral challenges.

• Provide brief case management services to support patients in their treatment journey, ensuring continuity of care.

• Assist in crisis intervention efforts, which may involve assessing immediate risks, providing de-escalation techniques, and coordinating with public mental health crisis response teams when necessary.

• Engage collaboratively with team members to develop follow-up assessments and prevention plans post-crisis, including coordination with external agencies as required.

• Participate in team meetings and case discussions to foster a culture of holistic, client-focused care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse range of clients, from children to adults, facing mental health challenges in various forms. Our patients include individuals experiencing emotional distress related to domestic violence, grief and loss, addiction, and other psychosocial stressors. Understanding the unique aspects of each client’s background is imperative to providing compassionate, personalized care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in behavioral science field and possession of a relevant California BBS license, such as LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling, showcasing proficiency in therapeutic practices.
