Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive preliminary interviews to gather detailed information on clients' mental, emotional, and behavioral health.

• Evaluate and document cases thoroughly, from initial consultations through continuous treatment updates, ensuring the accuracy of all records.
\n
• Design personalized intervention and recovery plans tailored to individual, couple, and group needs, with clear objectives and desired outcomes.
\n
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions that encourage open dialogue and foster a supportive environment for healing.
\n
• Monitor client progress throughout the treatment process, adjusting care plans as needed to ensure effective recovery pathways.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, doctors, and social workers, to create comprehensive care strategies for clients.

• Communicate with families and caregivers to provide guidance and support in managing mental health challenges and improving overall care.

• Identify behaviors that could hinder recovery and implement strategies to address these challenges effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our client base includes individuals and families facing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, and more complex conditions. You will work closely with diverse groups, adapting your approach to meet their unique needs. As a mental health counselor, you will be instrumental in promoting resilience and fostering positive mental health outcomes, emphasizing therapeutic relationships built on trust and understanding.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Pennsylvania.

• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Demonstrated previous experience in mental health counseling, preferably in a telehealth setting.

Preferred Experience\n

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems (EHR), particularly AVATAR.

• Experience working with clients facing physical health challenges, emotional distress, or addiction issues.

• Understanding of best practices as outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• Knowledge regarding psychopharmacology and the influence of medications on mental health.
\n
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate clients effectively.

• A compassionate nature combined with excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and their families.

Compensation and Benefits\n
