Radiant Mental Health Associates is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Counselor to join our team of professionals in providing critical support and therapeutic services to individuals in recovery at our remote detox center in Babylon, New York. This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 60,000 to 104,000 annually, based on experience and credentials. Work Environment

This role is primarily remote, allowing counselors to maintain a flexible work life while connecting with individuals in need of mental health services. Our detox center operates Monday through Saturday, providing ample opportunity for clinicians to design their schedules to meet both their professional and personal needs. We handle all aspects of credentialing and insurance management, ensuring that our counselors can focus on what they do best—helping clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments of individuals, adolescents, families, and groups, tailoring interventions to meet diverse client needs.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Facilitate effective communication during patient rounds and meetings, ensuring that all staff are informed of each client's needs and progress.
• Utilize evidence-based clinical interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), to assist clients in achieving their treatment goals.
• Provide case management services, interacting with community resources and professionals to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.
• Maintain ethical standards in documentation and reporting to support patient safety, privacy, and care quality.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The focus of this role is on clients within our detox center, who are often dealing with complex behavioral health challenges. You'll engage with a diverse population, including individuals in acute distress, and work collaboratively with them to foster resilience and recovery. Qualifications

• A valid and current license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a related field, alongside 2 years of clinical experience.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of clinical experience is required, preference will be given to candidates who have experience working in detox or outpatient settings. Familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities, particularly CBT, will be advantageous.
