Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist, you will engage in a variety of essential tasks, including:

• Consulting with patients to thoroughly assess their physical condition and specific symptoms, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their needs.
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans aimed at diagnosing movement dysfunctions and enhancing patient mobility.
• Instructing patients on therapeutic exercise techniques, ensuring they understand how to perform exercises safely and effectively.
• Utilizing manual therapies such as massage and manual manipulation to promote healing and alleviate pain.
• Assisting patients with adaptive equipment, such as wheelchairs and walkers, to improve their daily living abilities and promote independence.
• Maintaining meticulous records of patient progress while regularly reviewing and adjusting treatment plans based on observed results.
• Educating patients and their families on at-home treatment strategies and exercises to support recovery outside of clinical visits.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a diverse patient population, ranging from pediatric to geriatric clients with varying conditions including orthopedic injuries, neurological disorders, post-surgical rehabilitation, and sports-related injuries. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree.
• A valid physical therapist license to practice in the state of Florida.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with patients and team members.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for patient documentation and progress tracking.
• A flexible approach to patient care, adapting techniques and plans as needed.

Preferred Experience
