Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations, including the assessment of patient history and physical capabilities, to design personalized treatment plans that accommodate each patient's unique needs.
• Communicate evaluation results and treatment strategies clearly to patients and their families by involving them in goal-setting to enhance their understanding and engagement in the rehabilitation process.
• Implement effective treatment protocols based on ongoing evaluations, adapting strategies in response to patient progress and updates within the healthcare field.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, adjusting care plans as necessary and maintaining thorough documentation of all patient interactions, progress notes, and discharge plans that reflect each patient's individual care pathway.
• Practice timely and efficient time management by maintaining an organized schedule, meeting productivity targets, and actively participating in marketing initiatives that elevate community awareness about our services.
• Continuously focus on professional development by pursuing educational opportunities, ensuring that your skills as well as those of the team are up-to-date, while mentoring students and contributing to their learning experience.
• Engage actively in improving patient access to care by participating in initiatives aimed at removing barriers and enhancing the overall patient experience.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will work with come from diverse backgrounds and present a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, neurological disorders, and post-surgical rehabilitation needs. Our focus is on delivering tailored therapy experiences, employing evidence-based techniques to not only enhance recovery but to ensure patients are informed and motivated throughout their healing journey.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid DPT license in the State of Florida is necessary for application.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association is mandatory.

Preferred Experience

While we value prior experience, it is not mandatory. Candidates with at least 2 years of clinical experience in a similar role will be prioritized, particularly those who demonstrate proficiency in outpatient settings.
