Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will:

• Manage a caseload of clients, establishing trusting relationships while upholding professional ethics and boundaries.

• Conduct regular sessions to evaluate client progress, discuss stability, upcoming appointments, and facilitate discharge when necessary.

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized, person-centered treatment plans tailored to each client's needs.

• Document all sessions meticulously, maintaining up-to-date progress notes for each client in accordance with clinic standards.

• Perform thorough intake assessments to evaluate clients' mental health status and needs.
\n
• Conduct weekly individual therapy sessions, employing evidence-based practices to support therapeutic goals.

• Participate actively in individual supervision to enhance clinical skills and personal development.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare providers to facilitate comprehensive care delivery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Connecticut.

• A minimum of one year’s experience in counseling psychiatric patients and/or working with substance abuse populations.
