Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to determine the needs of children and families.
\n
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs) tailored to suit each child’s developmental milestones, preferences, and family concerns.
\n
• Provide coaching and support to families using best practices aligned with the Natural Learning Environment approach in children's natural settings.
\n
• Facilitate progress tracking by collaborating with multidisciplinary team members, ensuring effective communication and integration of services.
\n
• Establish trusting, supportive relationships with families and children, creating a nurturing learning atmosphere.
\n
• Stay informed of and adhere to all federal and state regulations governing social work practices.
\n
• Deliver ongoing education to families, equipping them with skills and knowledge to promote their child’s development.
\n
• Actively participate in training sessions and continuing education to refine your skills and stay updated with current trends in early intervention.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on assisting infants and toddlers with disabilities or developmental delays. We aim to equip these children with essential skills—physical, cognitive, social/emotional, and communication—that typically emerge during the critical early years of life. You will play a vital role in enhancing their quality of life and fostering healthy developmental trajectories.

Qualifications\n

• Master's Degree or Doctorate in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current LCSW licensure through the Department of Public Health.
\n
• A valid driver’s license to travel as needed for client assessments.
\n
• Proficient in adopting various learning styles to cater to the individualized needs of each child and family.

• Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple caseloads effectively.

• Exceptional communication skills to foster collaboration with team members and build rapport with clients.

• Demonstrated commitment to the principles and practices of Natural Learning Environment methodologies.

Preferred Experience\n

• Minimum of one year’s experience in early intervention or working with young children with special needs.

• Fluency in both English and Spanish is highly encouraged to enhance communication with diverse families.
