Key Responsibilities\n

As a Senior LCSW, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments of clients to identify their mental health needs, challenges, and treatment goals based on best practices.

• Developing personalized treatment plans crafted around evidence-based modalities, including but not limited to cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).

• Administering therapeutic interventions with a focus on behavioral change and coping strategies, ensuring that each client receives customized care.

• Maintaining meticulous clinical records to comply with HIPAA regulations and our internal standards, ensuring documentation is both accurate and timely.

• Collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and counselors to optimize patient care and treatment outcomes.

• Participating in case consultations and peer reviews to continuously enhance the treatment protocols implemented at Empower Minds Therapy.

• Providing educational resources and emotional support to clients and their families about mental health concerns, available treatment options, and community resources.

• Staying updated with the latest research and techniques in mental health, integrating new findings into practice to improve client outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will serve a diverse population of clients, primarily adults struggling with mental health issues and substance use disorders. Your approach will be holistic, addressing both mental and emotional well-being. You will engage with clients at various stages of their treatment journey, providing them with the tools and support necessary to foster resilience and recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, confirming academic preparation for advanced clinical practice.

• A minimum of three years of clinical experience, with a focus on providing therapeutic services to individuals dealing with mental health issues and substance use.

• Proficiency in solution-focused therapeutic interventions and familiarity with various psychotherapeutic models.

Preferred Experience\n

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in detox or addiction treatment environments, as well as those familiar with outpatient mental health services. Additionally, familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems will be advantageous for maintaining patient records.
