Work Environment

Located within a modern rehabilitation facility in Lincroft, NJ, our work setting fosters collaboration and interaction among a multidisciplinary team. You will work directly with patients in an onsite environment equipped with state-of-the-art rehabilitation tools and technology. Weekly, you will engage in 40 hours of work, which may include variable weekends as patient needs dictate.

Key Responsibilities

The Physical Therapist will be responsible for a range of vital tasks, including:

• Conducting thorough examinations and evaluations to assess patients' functional limitations and disabilities.
• Developing comprehensive, personalized treatment plans to address the specific needs of each patient.
• Providing consultations to other healthcare professionals concerning patient care and treatment continuity.
• Implementing treatment strategies and regularly re-evaluating patient progress to adjust plans as necessary.
• Educating patients and their families about therapy goals and expectations to encourage active participation in their recovery process.
• Maintaining accurate documentation of assessments, treatment procedures, and patient progress, adhering to professional regulations and standards.
• Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, including physicians and support staff, ensuring comprehensive care delivery for each patient.
• Participating in leadership activities, including community outreach efforts and quality improvement initiatives.
• Attending regular staff meetings and professional development seminars to stay current with industry practices.
• Supervising and training assigned support staff, ensuring effective collaboration within the treatment team.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse patient population, including adults and seniors recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological impairments, and various mobility challenges. Providing holistic care, you will use your assessment skills to tailor interventions that promote healing, functional independence, and overall quality of life. Your contributions are essential in helping patients regain confidence and achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A current state license in Physical Therapy to practice in New Jersey.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in word processing and electronic documentation systems.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with at least two years of relevant experience in a clinical setting are highly desirable. Experience working in a rehabilitation facility or with a similar patient demographic will be considered an asset. Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
