Work Environment

This role is based onsite in Lincroft, where you will work in a fully equipped rehabilitation facility. Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist, your responsibilities will include:

• Designing and executing tailored physical therapy treatment plans with the goal of preventing disabilities and alleviating pain.
• Leading assessments of patients to evaluate their physical capabilities through diagnostic tests on muscles, nerves, and joints.
• Coordinating with physical therapy assistants to ensure the efficient implementation of care plans and appropriate treatment delivery.
• Administering therapeutic exercises, both manual and non-manual, to facilitate patient recovery, while also instructing family members in home exercise techniques.
• Monitoring patient progress, keeping detailed clinical records, and communicating changes to interdisciplinary team members to ensure holistic care management.
• Assessing home environments to provide recommendations that promote patient independence and safety.
• Engaging in regular case conferences with other healthcare professionals to evaluate comprehensive treatment strategies for each patient.
• Providing ongoing education to clients and their families regarding therapy practices and the use of assistive devices.
• Preparing clinical documentation, including evaluations and progress reports, to maintain up-to-date patient records and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid and active Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey.
• Current CPR certification.
