This position allows for remote work, providing flexibility while maintaining strong connections with our outpatient team. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients to assess symptoms related to eating disorders and any co-occurring mental health conditions, working to identify individual treatment needs.

• Design personalized treatment plans through collaborative efforts with clients, setting realistic and attainable goals for recovery tailored to individual needs.

• Deliver evidence-based interventions, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), to foster healthier perceptions of food, body image, and self-worth.

• Facilitate therapeutic sessions addressing clients' distorted beliefs, guiding them in developing positive coping strategies and emotional regulation skills.
\n
• Enhance client care by working in tandem with our supportive treatment team to coordinate various aspects of each individual’s treatment journey, ensuring continuity and holistic support.

• Educate clients and their families on the complexities of eating disorders and treatment processes, creating a supportive environment that promotes understanding and recovery.
\n
• Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and treatment interventions in compliance with legal and ethical standards to enhance continuity of care.

• Engage actively in team meetings and professional development sessions to continually refine clinical skills and share insights regarding effective eating disorder treatments.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals grappling with a range of eating disorders, including but not limited to anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, and binge-eating disorder. Understanding the unique challenges faced by these clients, you will employ therapeutic techniques and active engagement strategies to empower them towards recovery, facilitating growth in both mental health and self-acceptance.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is essential.

• Possession of a current and valid license as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in Kansas is required to practice.

• Proficiency in delivering evidence-based therapy techniques, specifically targeting eating disorders, such as CBT, DBT, and ACT.
