You will work with a team of experienced mental health professionals during standard business hours, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive client assessments to accurately determine the severity and specifics of mood disorder symptoms, ensuring tailored and effective treatment.

• Collaboratively develop individualized treatment plans that integrate client goals, personal history, and evidence-based practices.

• Implement a range of therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to promote healing and resilience among clients.

• Provide ongoing education and support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, paving the way for informed treatment choices and self-care practices.

• Regularly monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans in response to evolving needs or outcomes.

• Engage with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care that addresses both psychological needs and medication management.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and clinical developments in mood disorder treatment to continually refine and enhance therapeutic approaches.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with individuals diagnosed with mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. Our diverse clientele includes adults from various backgrounds and experiences, each with unique needs and therapeutic goals. Your role will be pivotal in providing compassionate care that prioritizes the individual experiences of each client.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Connecticut.

• Proficient in evidence-based treatment modalities, with a focus on CBT and DBT.

• Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology and proficiency in collaborating with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals.

• Demonstrated success in achieving positive outcomes in the treatment of mood disorders.
