This role offers the flexibility of working remotely from your home in Bakersfield, California. The successful candidate will integrate seamlessly within our telehealth practice, delivering high-quality care while promoting mental wellness among clients experiencing various mood-related challenges.

Work Environment\n

This position is primarily conducted via telehealth services, bringing mental health care directly into the homes of our clients. You will work in a dynamic and supportive virtual environment, engaging with peers and management through video conferencing and dedicated platforms designed for mental health professionals. The working hours are set from Monday to Friday, between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM, with occasional opportunities for evening and weekend hours on a rotatory basis to accommodate client needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mood disorder symptoms, ensuring an understanding of their severity, frequency, and duration.

• Develop customized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, addressing their individual goals, preferences, and specific challenges they face.

• Employ evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate effective treatment processes.

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, available treatment options, and strategies for self-care, enhancing their understanding and facilitating better outcomes.

• Regularly monitor client progress throughout the treatment journey, making timely adjustments to treatment plans as necessary based on their responses and needs.

• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care that holistically addresses clients' mental health needs.

• Stay informed about the latest research and techniques in mood disorder treatment to continually enhance clinical practice and improve therapeutic outcomes.

• Maintain thorough and confidential client records, ensuring compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards when documenting assessments, treatment plans, and session notes.

• Participate actively in case consultations and team meetings, contributing to a culture of shared learning and continuous improvement in clinical practices.

• Advocate for clients' mental health needs, promoting awareness and reducing stigma associated with mood disorders in various community settings.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is individuals dealing with mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. You will work with a diverse clientele, ranging from adolescents to older adults, applying tailored approaches to meet each person’s unique circumstances and cultures.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• An excellent understanding of psychopharmacology and a capability to collaborate effectively with prescribing psychiatrists is essential.

• Proven ability to engage with clients from a wide range of backgrounds, exhibiting strong communication and relational skills.

Preferred Experience\n

• Two or more years of post-licensure experience focusing on mood disorders are preferred, demonstrating a history of successful outcomes in treatment.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000 per year, alongside a sign-on bonus to recognize your expertise and commitment.
