This position is entirely remote, facilitating a flexible work-life balance. The workdays are generally structured from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some potential for evening and weekend shifts on a rotational basis to accommodate client needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to accurately evaluate clients presenting with mood disorder symptoms, considering severity, frequency, and duration.

• Develop specialized, individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, incorporating their specific goals and preferences for therapy.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate recovery.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies to empower them in their treatment journey.

• Monitor client progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care and ensure treatment plans are effectively integrated.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, including session notes and treatment plans.

• Advocate for the mental health needs of clients and contribute to initiatives aimed at reducing stigma associated with mood disorders.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses primarily on clients dealing with mood disorders, which may include conditions such as major depressive disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, and bipolar disorder. You will work with a diverse range of individuals, including adolescents and adults, each presenting unique challenges and requiring tailored therapeutic approaches to meet their mental health needs.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

Compensation and Benefits\n
