Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough virtual and in-person assessments to gain an understanding of each client's unique needs and challenges.

• Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans that encompass a range of therapeutic modalities and evidence-based practices.

• Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions, both virtually and in-person, to address various mental health concerns such as grief, anxiety, and depression.

• Staying abreast of best practices in hospice care to ensure the delivery of appropriate therapeutic interventions in this sensitive setting.

• Maintaining meticulous documentation of client interactions, treatment progress, and outcomes in compliance with organizational policies and state regulations.

• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, including medical professionals and caregivers, fostering a comprehensive approach to client care.

• Advocating for clients to access community resources and support services, using both virtual platforms and local networks.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on hospice clients and their families, who may be navigating complex emotional and psychological challenges during critical life transitions. By providing tailored support, the LICSW will help clients cope with grief, terminal illness, and the psychological impact of end-of-life decisions. Sensitivity and strong interpersonal skills are essential, as this position requires the ability to engage with clients in vulnerable situations.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required.

• An active Washington State license as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).

Compensation and Benefits\n
