Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and empathetic mental health assessments tailored to the unique circumstances of older adults, recognizing the interplay of cognitive decline, physical health, and social isolation.

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans that prioritize evidence-based practices and are adaptable to the evolving needs of each patient.

• Deliver therapeutic interventions through individual and family therapy, utilizing modalities informed by best practices in geriatric mental health.

• Collaborate closely with geriatric psychiatrists and a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive and consistent patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention services during mental health emergencies, offering support and guidance to elderly patients and their families.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $115,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
