Key Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the Physical Therapist include, but are not limited to:

• Developing and directing individualized physical therapy treatment plans aimed at preventing disability, alleviating pain, and enhancing muscle function per physician prescriptions.
• Overseeing the work of Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure compliance with treatment protocols and goals.
• Conducting comprehensive evaluations using diagnostic tools to assess muscle, nerve, joint, and functional abilities.
• Performing home evaluations to provide recommendations that foster client independence in their daily environments.
• Administering therapeutic exercises, both manual and non-manual, while motivating clients in their rehabilitation journeys.
• Utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities such as traction and massage to support client recovery.
• Assessing and recommending prosthetic and orthotic devices, coordinating with physicians for necessary adjustments.
• Actively participating in the development, review, and updates of care plans, making necessary adjustments based on client progress.
• Documenting clinical records meticulously, including evaluations, care plans, and progress notes, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
• Engaging in interdisciplinary team meetings to optimize treatment strategies and sharing insights with colleagues and family members.
• Providing education to clients and families about therapy devices and the overall physical therapy program.
• Ensuring timely submission of clinical and payroll documentation in accordance with company protocols.
