Board-Certified Physical Therapist in Home Care - Full-Time Position

Position Overview

Dynamic Care Psychotherapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team in San Francisco, California. Work Environment

This role entails working in a home care setting, allowing Physical Therapists to interact with patients in the comfort of their own homes. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough consultations with patients to assess their physical condition and understand their symptoms.
• Diagnose movement dysfunctions and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
• Implement therapeutic exercise techniques while providing instructional guidance to patients and their families.
• Administer hands-on therapy such as massage or stimulation to promote healing and alleviate pain.
• Assist patients in the use of mobility equipment such as wheelchairs, walkers, and other assistive devices.
• Maintain accurate patient records to track progress and adjust treatment goals accordingly.
• Educate patients and families regarding at-home treatment options and ongoing exercises to facilitate recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse clientele, including children and adults facing a range of physical challenges. Our patients may experience conditions stemming from injuries, surgeries, chronic illnesses, or developmental delays. As such, your ability to communicate effectively and adapt treatment strategies will be crucial in ensuring positive outcomes and enhancing patient engagement.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Must hold a valid physical therapist license in California.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills essential for patient interaction and documentation.
• Proficient in word processing and other computer skills relevant to maintaining patient records.
• Ability to adapt and exhibit flexibility in dealing with varied patient needs and treatment scenarios.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of relevant experience is preferred, we are particularly interested in candidates who demonstrate a passion for patient care, continuous improvement, and a desire to further their professional development. Experience in home care settings is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
