Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate clients' trauma histories and develop tailored treatment approaches.

• Create and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at fostering recovery and resilience, integrating evidence-based methods and innovative techniques.

• Provide individual and group therapy sessions utilizing therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a holistic approach to patient care, frequently engaging in team meetings and communication to discuss treatment strategies.

• Offer crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, guiding clients through high-stress situations effectively.

• Educate clients and their families concerning trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and community resources available for support.
\n
• Maintain precise and confidential documentation according to legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

• Participate in regular professional development activities, staying current with cutting-edge research and practices in trauma therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with individuals who have experienced significant trauma, including but not limited to PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Your expertise will play a crucial role in helping these clients process their experiences, rebuild their lives, and cultivate coping skills for the future.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Washington.
\n
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience preferred, with a strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and treatment.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to patient care.

• Proficient in the use of electronic health record (EHR) systems and other technology essential for modern counseling practice.

Compensation and Benefits\n
