Key Responsibilities\n

• Manage a caseload of young clients, ensuring to establish rapport and nurturing professional relationships while upholding ethical boundaries.

• Conduct regular sessions to monitor progress, discuss stability, and plan subsequent appointments or discharges as needed.

• Create, implement, and oversee person-centered treatment plans to address individual client needs, integrating evidence-based practices.

• Document clinical encounters meticulously, maintaining thorough and accurate progress notes and intake assessments for each client.

• Engage in supervision sessions regularly to enhance skills and receive ongoing support for clinical decision-making.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care delivery tailored to each client’s needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on young individuals experiencing mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and behavioral issues. This role requires an understanding of youth development and mental health challenges specific to children and adolescents, ensuring that interventions are not only effective but also relatable to younger clients.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in mental health counseling, social work, or a related field is required.

• Active licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in New Jersey.

• Capability to satisfy internal credentialing requirements in relevant clinical settings.

• At least one year of practical experience working with psychiatric patients and/or substance abuse populations.

• Proficiency in assessment, diagnosis, and providing both individual and group therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n
