Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand clients' trauma histories and determine appropriate treatment plans.
• Develop and implement individualized trauma recovery and resilience-building strategies tailored to each client’s needs.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.
• Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions, guiding clients through their trauma experiences while helping them build coping mechanisms for sustained recovery.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to create integrated treatment plans that address the full spectrum of client needs.
• Provide crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring timely, effective support for clients in distress.
• Educate clients and their families on trauma reactions, developing coping strategies, and accessing community resources for additional support.
• Maintain ethical and legal standards by keeping accurate records and upholding client confidentiality.
• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development to enhance service effectiveness and stay updated on best practices in trauma therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients at Contemporary Trauma Mental Clinic are individuals who navigate the complexities of trauma. They may experience various challenges stemming from past events, including PTSD, complex trauma responses, and dissociative disorders. Qualifications

• A master's or doctoral degree from an accredited institution in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Current state licensure as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or PsyD is required for practice.
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in mental health care, with a focus on trauma is preferred.
• Comprehensive knowledge of trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed therapy protocols, and resilience methodologies.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, essential for building rapport and trust with clients.
• The ability to remain composed and professional in high-pressure situations, facilitating effective support.
• Proficiency in using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and relevant software applications.

Preferred Experience

Ideal candidates will have direct experience utilizing trauma-focused therapeutic interventions, along with a deep understanding of the challenges faced by trauma survivors. Familiarity with multiple therapeutic modalities and their application in real-world settings is a valuable asset.

Compensation and Benefits
