This position is designed for a telehealth setting, allowing our therapists to connect with clients from the comfort and safety of their own homes. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments, gathering comprehensive details on patients' trauma histories to tailor effective treatment plans.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and fostering personal growth.
• Utilize specific therapeutic modalities including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to deliver impactful therapy sessions.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that encourage patients to explore their trauma experiences, build coping strategies, and promote emotional healing.
• Engage closely with psychiatrists and other health professionals to provide cohesive and integrated care for clients, ensuring all aspects of their mental health are addressed.
• Offer immediate crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating a swift response and care for clients in distress.
• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and community resources to facilitate comprehensive support.
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in accordance with HIPAA and state regulations, ensuring all client records are kept up-to-date.
• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities that emphasize trauma-informed care principles.
• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy to continuously improve your practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on working with adult and adolescent clients who are faced with the challenges of trauma. This includes those dealing with PTSD, anxiety, depression as a result of traumatic experiences, and other trauma-related disorders. Your insights and therapies will play a crucial role in helping them navigate their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.
• Proven ability to deliver trauma-informed care and demonstrate a deep understanding of trauma-related disorders and treatment modalities.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, characterized by a compassionate and empathetic approach towards clients.
• Capability to remain composed in high-pressure scenarios, providing calm and effective support to clients in distress.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and technology-assist applications to ensure precise client management.

Preferred Experience

We highly prefer candidates with at least two years of post-licensure experience, particularly in trauma-focused therapy settings. Previous engagement with evidence-based therapies and a track record of effectively working with trauma survivors will be seen as vital assets in this role.

Compensation and Benefits
