Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver ongoing, trauma-informed counseling services to adults who are survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and other forms of abuse.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' immediate safety concerns, particularly for those at high risk of homicide, suicide, or further domestic violence.

• Facilitate both individual and group counseling sessions designed to help clients process their trauma, cope with their experiences, and achieve healing using a strengths-based approach.

• Guide clients in developing personalized strategies and skills to reach their therapeutic goals and enhance their overall well-being.

• Maintain meticulous documentation using our electronic medical/health systems, ensuring compliance with organizational guidelines and state regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary clientele includes adults who have survived trauma and abuse. Many clients present with complex needs that may intersect with mental health issues, substance use, and social service requirements. Your role will involve working closely with each client to create a supportive therapeutic environment where they can explore their experiences and work towards recovery. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is required.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.

• A minimum of three years of direct clinical experience in an outpatient setting, demonstrating the ability to manage cases independently.

Compensation and Benefits\n
