Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough and detailed patient assessments, gathering medical histories and performing physical examinations to understand the pain issues each patient faces.
• Collaborate with the supervising physician to formulate and implement individualized treatment plans. Utilize evidence-based practices tailored to the specific needs of each patient.
• Perform essential procedures such as joint injections, trigger point injections, and nerve blocks, ensuring they are conducted safely and effectively under supervision.
• Regularly monitor patient progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary, based on emerging patient needs and response to therapies.
• Deliver patient education regarding pain management strategies, including medication protocols and lifestyle modifications that can support recovery and pain relief.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals—such as physical therapists, psychologists, and pain specialists—to provide holistic care that addresses all dimensions of the patient's well-being.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients consist of individuals suffering from a variety of pain conditions, from acute sports injuries to chronic pain syndromes such as fibromyalgia or arthritis. The role of the Physician Assistant in our pain management team is crucial for understanding the complexities of each patient’s needs and delivering personalized care that enhances patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant Program is required.
• Active state licensure and board certification as a Physician Assistant.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with patients and collaborate with the healthcare team.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 150,000 to 180,000 annually , commensurate with experience and qualifications.
