Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique needs.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Offer therapeutic services to diverse groups including individuals, couples, and families, ensuring a supportive and empathetic environment.

• Compile and maintain detailed clinical records in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.
\n
• Advocate for clients and connect them with additional resources to support their mental health and well-being.

• Engage in professional development activities such as workshops and training sessions to stay updated on the latest advancements in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with individuals and families from low-income backgrounds who face various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Often, our clients encounter significant barriers to accessing mental health care, and your role will be critical in providing them with the support and resources they need for recovery and wellness.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
\n
• Possession of an active and unrestricted license as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the state of California.

• A minimum of two years of experience providing counseling, preferably within a clinical setting.

• Strong understanding of legal and ethical counseling practices.
\n
• Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with diverse clientele.

• A proven ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team environment.

• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) software is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n

• Annual salary range of $120,000 to $140,000, commensurate with experience.
\n
• A sign-on bonus of $3,000 is available for new Licensed Professional Counselors joining our team.
