Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments and evaluations for clients to identify their unique needs and challenges, forming the foundation for individualized treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based approaches to address various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship problems.

• Engage in collaborative case management by working closely with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client treatment.

• Provide effective crisis intervention and support services to clients facing acute distress, demonstrating empathy, and choosing appropriate interventions to de-escalate situations.

• Participate in community outreach initiatives, including workshops and seminars, aimed at raising mental health awareness and reducing stigma in various populations.

Qualifications\n

• Possess an independent and active license as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• Hold a master's degree or a doctorate in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• Demonstrate exceptional communication and interpersonal skills at establishing rapport with clients, enabling therapeutic relationships that promote trust and openness.

• Exhibit a strong cultural sensitivity and competence, allowing effective interactions with individuals from varied backgrounds.

• Display strong organizational skills, ensuring accurate documentation and management of caseloads in a timely manner.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in mental health therapy, preferably in a community mental health setting.
