Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at Hype Motion Physical Therapy, you will work in a vibrant rehabilitation facility, which is fully equipped with state-of-the-art treatment technologies and modalities. Your working hours will run from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, providing a structured schedule conducive to both patient care and personal well-being. This onsite position encourages teamwork and collaboration among healthcare professionals, contributing to a holistic approach to patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Adhere to state practice acts and regulations while providing thorough and compliant therapy services.

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, formulating and documenting targeted treatment plans for those with functional limitations and disabilities.

• Administer evaluation services which include collecting patient history, performing specific assessments, and providing actionable recommendations.

• Implement detailed treatment protocols based on evaluation findings, maintaining adaptability to individual patient conditions and healthcare standards.

• Collaborate and consult with other healthcare professionals when necessary, documenting any changes in patient conditions that may require a shift in treatment strategies or referrals to specialists.

• Manage patient discharge planning and follow-up care. Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of all patient interactions, including initial evaluations, daily encounter notes, interim updates, and discharge summaries.

• Complete corporate and clinical service training, ensuring continual compliance with all state, local, and federal regulations.

• Engage in facility meetings and actively contribute to improving patient access and quality of care initiatives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In our outpatient facilities, you will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic conditions, sports injuries, and post-surgical rehabilitation. Our diverse client base ranges from active individuals looking to regain mobility to elderly patients requiring gentle rehabilitation techniques. Your role will be instrumental in developing and implementing treatment plans tailored to encourage optimal recovery outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited physical therapy program.

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee in the state of Florida.

• A minimum of two years of outpatient orthopedic experience is required.

• Current certification in CPR.

Preferred Experience

Though two years of outpatient orthopedic experience is required, candidates with experience in advanced therapeutic techniques, individualized patient care, and familiarity with electronic health record systems will be considered favorably. Experience in multidisciplinary collaboration within a rehabilitation setting is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
