Work Environment

Located onsite in our modern rehabilitation facility, this position requires a dedicated therapist to work in an outpatient clinic that fosters collaboration and professional development. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate patient conditions and design individualized treatment plans that address specific rehabilitation goals.
• Manage a balanced patient load, ensuring that each patient receives quality care through sufficient one-on-one attention.
• Implement a variety of evidence-based treatment modalities, emphasizing manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises to optimize mobility and function.
• Strive to minimize reliance on surgical interventions and medications by focusing on non-invasive, cost-effective therapy alternatives.
• Monitor patient progress consistently, adjusting care plans as necessary to achieve optimal results and outcomes.
• Maintain clear and accurate documentation using EMR software, specifically Web PT, to track treatments and progress effectively.
• Encourage patient engagement through motivational techniques, fostering a positive and proactive recovery journey.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and other allied health professionals.
• Promote ongoing education about health lifestyles, providing patients with the knowledge to manage their wellness independently.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgery, injuries, and chronic pain conditions, all requiring specialized orthopedic care. Our approach focuses on understanding each patient's unique background and goals, allowing us to deliver personalized treatment that not only addresses their immediate needs but also lays the foundation for long-term health and mobility.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• An active Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia, with a clean record free of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Expertise in manual therapy techniques, demonstrating a high level of proficiency and adaptability in applying various modalities.
• Strong analytical skills to assess patient needs and formulate effective treatment regimens.
• Knowledgeable in current physical therapy techniques and research, ensuring the application of the most relevant practices.
• Proficient in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly Web PT, for effective documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting, particularly in orthopedic care.
• Demonstrated success in developing and managing personalized exercise and rehabilitation programs.
• Experience collaborating with a diverse team of healthcare professionals to enhance patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
