Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients’ trauma histories and craft personalized treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to guide clients in their healing process.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, fostering an environment for personal expression and emotional growth.
\n
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other health professionals to ensure a cohesive and integrated care approach tailored to each client's needs.

• Respond effectively to crisis situations, providing immediate support and intervention during trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate clients and their families regarding trauma responses, coping strategies, and available mental health resources.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines using our electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Actively engage in case consultations and team meetings to share insights and develop best practices in trauma-informed care.

• Continuously update knowledge of the latest research and developments in trauma therapy and mental health interventions.

Qualifications\n

• Education: A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Licensure: Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in the state of New York.

• Skills: A strong working knowledge of trauma-related disorders, treatment modalities, and effective resilience-building approaches.

• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and digital communication tools.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, candidates with robust training in trauma-focused therapies and evidence of ongoing professional development will stand out. Compensation and Benefits\n
