Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to identify clients’ needs and develop tailored treatment plans, utilizing diagnostic tools such as Gains and Locus.

• Provide case management and resource linkage services, ensuring clients are connected with relevant community resources for holistic support.
\n
• Deliver individual therapy, crisis intervention, and diversion strategies to manage urgent situations effectively.
\n
• Collaborate with family members and other stakeholders to track behavioral changes and treatment responses.
\n
• Remain actively involved in after-hours on-call services, sharing weekend and holiday coverage with your team.
\n
• Maintain accurate client records in our Electronic Health Records system, analyzing data to refine treatment approaches.
\n
• Engage in ongoing training and clinical supervision, participating in interdisciplinary meetings to enhance practice and client care.
\n
• Adhere to professional and ethical standards, encompassing continuing education requirements to maintain licensure in good standing.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population facing various challenges, including mental health disorders, substance abuse, and intellectual disabilities. Your effective communication and culturally competent approach will help you provide meaningful therapy to clients of different socioeconomic backgrounds, ages, and lifestyles. You will create a safe, non-judgmental, and supportive environment that encourages clients to openly discuss their issues and work toward recovery.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s Degree in a human services related field, such as psychology, social work, or counseling.

• Active licensure in the District of Columbia as LPC, LICSW, or LMFT.

• Proficient in using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems for client documentation and management.

• Demonstrated advanced verbal and written communication skills, as well as organizational ability to manage caseload effectively.

• Strong active listening skills with attention to detail to ensure comprehensive client assessments.
\n
• Capable of handling stress, meeting deadlines, and maintaining productivity expectations.
\n
• A commitment to providing respectful and dignified treatment to clients and collaborating with a diverse team.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience in a telehealth setting is highly desired, particularly working with remote patient populations.

• Experience with crisis intervention strategies and familiarity with treatment modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) or dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).

• Ability to provide supervision to junior therapists and interns, fostering professional growth within the team.
