Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to understand their mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address various issues including low self-esteem, family dynamics, addictions, and suicidal tendencies.

• Maintain meticulous records of client interactions and progress, applying analytical skills to tailor treatment approaches as needed.

• Collaborate with clients’ family members to monitor and evaluate behavioral changes throughout the course of treatment.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention and diversion strategies as required, ensuring timely and appropriate responses to urgent situations.

• Refer clients to additional specialists such as psychiatrists or addiction treatment professionals for further assessment when needed.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse range of populations experiencing various mental health issues, including individuals with severe depression, anxiety disorders, substance use disorders, and family issues. Our clients come from different backgrounds and life experiences, and as a virtual counselor, you will help to create a safe space for them to express their feelings and work towards recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
\n
• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).
\n
• No history of Medical Malpractice Claims, verified by a third party.
\n
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in a community mental health setting.

• Familiarity with telehealth practices and digital tools for counseling.

• Prior experience working with clients from various socioeconomic backgrounds and cultural contexts.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive annual salary in the range of USD 100,000 to 105,000 , commensurate with your experience and caseload.
