Key Responsibilities\n

As a Virtual Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough evaluations and assessments to identify clients’ mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans.

• Providing ongoing individual and group therapy sessions tailored to support clients facing various mental health challenges.

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation, including treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries, while adhering to legal and ethical standards.

• Facilitating consumer support groups focused on specific issues such as perinatal mental health, allowing clients to connect and share experiences in a guided environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses on serving a diverse clientele, including individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and perinatal mental health concerns. You will work with clients from various socioeconomic backgrounds and cultures, requiring sensitivity, adaptability, and a deep understanding of different therapeutic approaches to best serve their needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).

• No history of medical malpractice claims, verified by a third party.

• Authorization to work in the U.S.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with clients and collaborate with other professionals.

Compensation and Benefits\n
