Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of new patients, analyzing medical history and performing physical assessments to establish effective treatment protocols.
• Discuss evaluation findings and collaboratively create treatment plans with patients and their families, ensuring measurable goals are set to track progress.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to individual needs, adjusting them as necessary based on patient response and progress.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, providing insights and modifications to treatment plans as conditions evolve or change.
• Document each patient encounter thoroughly and accurately, maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations while ensuring clarity and precision in care records.
• Take an active role in discharge planning, coordinating follow-up care to enhance patient outcomes post-therapy.
• Meet productivity standards and manage time effectively while participating in community outreach and promotional activities for the center.
• Assist in the professional development of new staff members and students through mentorship, shaping the next generation of physical therapists.
• Participate in ongoing training and education initiatives that advance both personal skills and organizational capabilities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our center's clients include a wide variety of patients ranging from athletes recovering from injuries to older adults needing assistance with mobility due to chronic conditions. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid New Jersey state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Current certification in CPR from the American Heart Association is mandatory.

Preferred Experience

• While a minimum of two years of experience in physical therapy practice is preferred, new graduates with a DPT may also be considered.
• Prior experience in an outpatient rehabilitation setting will be beneficial but not mandatory.
