Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough consultations with patients to understand their physical condition, including pain levels, mobility, and functional limitations.
• Evaluate and diagnose movement dysfunctions, crafting personalized treatment plans based on established evidence and patient goals.
• Instruct patients in the proper use of therapeutic exercise techniques to facilitate recovery and promote independence.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques, such as stimulation and massage, to enhance healing and reduce discomfort.
• Guide patients in using mobility equipment, including wheelchairs and walkers, ensuring proper usage techniques to enhance safety and effectiveness.
• Maintain comprehensive patient records, tracking progress and setting achievable short and long-term goals.
• Provide educational guidance to patients and their families about in-home treatment options and self-care exercises to reinforce therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Agile Strength Rehabilitation Center, our focus is on serving both children and adults with a range of diagnoses, from post-surgical rehabilitation to chronic pain management. Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• A valid physical therapy license to practice in the state of California.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with patients and family members.
• Proficient in word processing and computer skills to maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• A flexible and agile approach to work, adapting to the needs of our patients and the center.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in a rehabilitation setting is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience with pediatric and geriatric populations is highly advantageous.
• Familiarity with the latest therapy techniques and treatment technologies.
