Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments of older adults, evaluating their unique psychological, cognitive, and social challenges.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that reflect each client's specific circumstances, including their cognitive and physical health needs.

• Utilize evidence-based interventions, providing both individual therapy and family therapy sessions, to effectively address geriatric psychiatric conditions.

• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including geriatric psychiatrists, to ensure that treatment plans are cohesive and holistic.

• Educate clients and their families on mental health conditions, possible treatment options, and community resources available to them.

• Maintain comprehensive, accurate, and ethically compliant documentation of all sessions and client interactions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is on older adult clients who may be experiencing a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and adjustments due to life transitions. You will engage with this population to provide compassionate support and interventions tailored to their specific needs, ensuring they achieve improved mental health outcomes and quality of life. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a post-licensure position, ideally in a geriatric focus.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This role offers an attractive annual salary ranging from $120,000 to $130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
