This position offers the advantage of a completely remote work setting that allows our counselors to operate from the comfort of their home or preferred environment. The flexible work hours, typically Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, can be adjusted to accommodate the needs of our patients. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate patients' mental health status and individual needs, leading to the development of personalized treatment plans that cater to each client’s circumstances.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions for individuals, couples, and families using various modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy to address specific mental health concerns.

• Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups that encourage community engagement, self-help, and peer support among clients.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure integrated care that prioritizes the holistic needs of each patient.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during emergencies, employing therapeutic techniques to stabilize acute conditions and facilitate safe, effective outcomes.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health issues, treatment options, and available resources within the community structure.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in compliance with legal requirements and ethical standards, ensuring accuracy in patients' records.

• Participate in regular team meetings, case consultations, and training sessions to continually advance clinical skills and knowledge in mental health therapy.

• Stay abreast of evolving research and best practice guidelines within the mental health field to enhance treatment efficacy and improvement.

Qualifications\n

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required; a Master’s or Doctoral degree is preferred for full licensure.

• Must hold current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCSW-R, LMHC, or LMFT in New York State.

• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders along with evidence-based treatment approaches.

• Proficiency in maintaining client confidentiality and adhering to ethical guidelines in clinical practice.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $115,000 – $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
