Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual therapy sessions, utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities tailored to meet the needs of clients.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress in accordance with department standards, ensuring communication is effective among team members.

• Explore treatment goals in collaboration with clients, regularly assessing their progress and adapting care plans as necessary.
\n
• Provide emotional support and crisis intervention, being prepared to assist clients in emergency situations.
\n
• Engage clients and their families in the therapeutic process, orienting them to services offered and the structure of their care.
\n
• Advocate for necessary services to support clients' journey and recovery, reporting any changes in behavior or mental status promptly.
\n
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss client progress and share insights to enhance collaborative care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse group of clients, including individuals, couples, and families of varying backgrounds. Our patient demographic includes children, adults, and families seeking support for a range of mental health challenges. Your expertise will be instrumental in providing culturally competent therapy that respects and addresses unique individual circumstances.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field.

• Current and active licensure as an LPCC, LCSW, LMFT, or PsyD in California.
\n
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience working in a clinical setting.
\n
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients effectively.
\n
• Experience in providing therapy to various demographics, with a focus on family and marriage therapy preferred.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience with diverse therapeutic techniques and familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems will be considered an asset, enhancing the efficiency of client documentation and data sharing. Moreover, advanced crisis intervention training will facilitate better handling of emergency situations.
