Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and provide mental health diagnoses; develop and implement tailored treatment plans based on individual client needs.

• Utilize evidence-based modalities to deliver short-term counseling to individuals dealing with a wide range of issues, including, but not limited to, depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, addiction, and significant psychosocial stressors.

• Offer short-term case management services, coordinating care and resources for patients during their recovery journey.

• Collaborate effectively as part of a clinical team, actively engaging in crisis intervention efforts, including assessment, de-escalation, and ongoing evaluation of client safety.

• Participate in follow-up care processes, working with community partners and outside agencies to ensure a continuum of care and successful outcomes for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will primarily focus on assisting diverse populations within the Stockton community, including individuals struggling with acute mental health conditions, trauma survivors, and those facing addiction or significant life transitions. This diverse clientele requires cultural competency, empathy, and a firm understanding of the socio-economic factors affecting mental wellness.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Behavioral Science with at least 2 years of post-licensure experience and current, relevant licensure (LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC).

• Active licensure in Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy.

• Demonstrated ability to provide clinical mental health services to individuals, families, and groups.

• Comprehensive knowledge of mental health illnesses and effective treatment strategies for a broad array of mental health disorders.

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, ensuring compliance with all relevant legal requirements for vehicle operation.
