Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Anchor Therapy, you will:

• Provide individualized therapy to adult clients in an outpatient pain clinic, focusing on their specific psychological and emotional needs.

• Facilitate weekly psychoeducational classes, enhancing participants' understanding of coping strategies, chronic pain management, and emotional resilience.
\n
• Offer brief therapy consultations for individuals enrolled in the Functional Recovery Program (FRP), assessing their progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
\n
• Conduct thorough assessments and develop personalized treatment plans for your active caseload, ensuring alignment with best practices in pain psychology.
\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams within the clinic to integrate diverse therapeutic modalities tailored to each patient’s journey to recovery.
\n
• Document all client interactions meticulously in our electronic medical records (EMR) system to maintain compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Stay abreast of developments in pain psychology to provide informed clinical care that adheres to current best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with clients who have experienced work-related injuries and are facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and physical pain. Your expert handling of these psychological issues will play a vital role in their overall recovery process, enabling patients to manage their conditions effectively and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• An active California LCSW license.
\n
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience, preferably in settings focusing on cognitive-behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and mindfulness-oriented interventions.

• Strong ability to create rapport with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams, demonstrating outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
